Tonight at NYFW, all eyes were on the American fashion house that has cemented itself as a household name. Calvin Klein’s creative director, Raf Simons, gave us all the (science) campy horror feels by fusing swimwear and scholastic-inspired looks for its JAWS-dropping ready-to-wear collection (pun intended).
Some of the the models walked down the runway sporting Jaws t-shirts and a lot of fun scuba knit pieces, while others rocked animal print dresses, colorful suits and caps and gowns. Putting all the pieces together, one couldn’t help but think of summer camp gone wrong. Regardless, the clothing was interesting and forward-thinking. Who wouldn’t want to wear scuba knit fabric in the spring? So fresh and comfortable without looking plain and boring, this collection has many takeaway pieces that we will be sure to see in the future.
